Altar Servers
Open to grade 4 through to high school, boys and girls to assist on the altar at Sunday Liturgies.
Altar Society
Dedicated to the maintenance of the Sanctuary and Sacristies including vestments, altar cloths, candles and brass.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
A child-centered, child-directed, method of introducing the mystery of God. It nourishes the religious needs and capacities of all children from birth to age 12.
Catholic Women's League
Offering women an opportunity to put their faith into action, serving God and Canada alongside 55,000 members in Ontario.
Chorale Choir
Preparing and performing liturgically-appropriate music and lending “another layer” to congregational singing at the 11am Mass.
Discovery Theatre
An adult liberal arts programme using the Socratic approach to learning through questions for insight—the drama of discovery for oneself—affiliated with the Thomas More Institute of Montreal and operating in Toronto since 1968. Each year, a different theme is explored, as a full course, through reading and focused discussion. Meetings are held on Tuesday afternoons. For information, call Thérèse Mason at (416) 231-8548.
Drop-In-Bridge
Meets Thursdays at 1pm, weekly in the parish hall meeting room.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Assist the celebrant with the distribution of communion during Sunday Eucharist, as well as weekday Masses. Some also assist in bringing Eucharist to sick homebound parishioners.
Finance Committee
Appointed to advise and assist the pastor with administration of the parish finances.
Knights of Columbus
Men's volunteer service organization dedicated to increasing spirituality and community in the parish.
Lectors
Proclaim God's word from sacred scripture at our Sunday and weekday liturgies.
Ministers of Hospitality
Within this ministry we have welcomers and ushers who meet parishioners on Sunday, welcome newcomers, and assist with collection on Sundays and at parish special events.
Music Ministry
Calling all musicians to enhance weekly Masses and special liturgies and celebrations.
Pastor's Advisory Council
Through collaboration and prayer, selected and appointed members make recommendations to meet pastoral needs of the parish.
Religious Education for Children
This program provides religious education for children grades 1-8 who are not enrolled in separate schools. Program runs Monday evenings from September to May.
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)
A process designed for people who wish to become Catholics. Instructors are adult catechists; volunteers sponsor candidates.
Rosary Hour
The Rosary is prayed daily following the 9am Mass.
Senior Choir
Serves at the 12:30pm Mass each Sunday. Rehearsals are at 7:30pm each Thursday in the church hall.
Shut-In Visiting
Visits the sick and elderly. Eucharist is made available through Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion.
Society of St. Vincent de Paul
Dedicated to tackling poverty and disadvantage by providing direct practical assistance to anyone in need.
Youth Ministry
Brings teens together to expand their faith and friendship with activities including meetings and group events.
Volunteer Screening Program
A process designed to create, maintain and promote a safe environment for all those to whom we minister, to support parish volunteers and preserve their safety, integrity and reputation and to ensure that we fulfill our duty and obligations as a faith and caring community.
